Level 2 Nursery Practitioner – Toddler & Pre-School Rooms
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Our client, a friendly and well-established nursery, is looking for a caring and committed Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their team.


This is a fantastic opportunity to work across both the toddler and pre-school rooms, supporting children aged 18 months to 5 years as they explore, learn, and grow. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to deliver engaging activities and provide warm, attentive care to children across the toddler and pre-school age groups. This role is perfect for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about supporting young children through their early developmental stages.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education.
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting (preferred).
  • A willingness to work across both toddler and pre-school rooms.
  • A caring, responsible approach and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Basic knowledge of the EYFS and a commitment to providing quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering a range of age-appropriate, stimulating activities.
  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider nursery team.
  • Contribute to observations and records to track children’s progress and support individual needs.
