Salary: Up to £14 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-time | Up to 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Montessori Teacher to join our client’s warm, child-centred nursery in the beautiful surroundings of Henley-on-Thames. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a setting that values independence, respect, and hands-on learning.
As a Montessori Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting each child’s natural development, using the Montessori philosophy to create a calm, purposeful, and enriching learning environment. You’ll guide children through self-directed activities, helping them grow in confidence and curiosity at their own pace.
What We’re Looking For:
- Montessori Diploma or QTS
- Proven experience in a Montessori or early years setting.
- A solid understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach with excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to professional development and reflective practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences following the Montessori approach and EYFS framework.
- Prepare and maintain a well-organised, engaging, and clean Montessori classroom.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s individual progress and development.
- Promote a respectful, caring, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure that all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed consistently.
