Level 3 Nursery Room Leader

Salary: Up to £32,500

40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s Nursery. As a Nursery Room Leader will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the room and providing high-quality care and education for young children.

Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in early years or above.
• Proven experience working in a childcare setting with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues.
• A commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the early years setting.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of nursery staff to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and implement a curriculum that supports children’s holistic development and individual needs.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to support the child's learning and well-being.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.
• Support and mentor staff, providing guidance and coaching to support their professional development.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and development and communicate with parents about their child’s achievements and challenges.
