Salary: Up to £46,000 | Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week

Our client, a leading provider of acute mental health services with a Good CQC rating, is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who values patient-centred care and is dedicated to making a positive impact in an acute mental health setting.
Experience & Qualifications
Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
Previous experience in a mental health setting, ideally in an acute care environment.
Proven ability to lead a team and demonstrate clinical expertise.
Experience with acute mental health patient care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on compassionate care.

About the Role
The Charge Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality care while supporting the well-being of patients and staff. They’ll have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where continuous learning and professional development are encouraged.
Provide clinical expertise and guidance, supporting staff through regular supervision, reflective practice, and peer support.
Conduct patient assessments, develop and evaluate individualized care plans, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical governance standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Actively contribute to patient recovery and well-being by creating a safe, therapeutic environment.
Manage emergencies and complex cases, using clinical judgment and advanced skills to support patient outcomes.
