Our client is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join their team in a secure rehabilitation service. This is a full-time, day-shift role offering competitive pay of up to £44,000 per annum and is the perfect opportunity for someone with a passion for mental health and rehabilitation.
As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional care to individuals within a locked rehabilitation setting. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the recovery journey of patients, ensuring their independence and well-being while adhering to the highest standards of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Active NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Previous experience in in-patient or secure mental health settings (e.g. lor or medium secure units, PICU and Forensic Wards)
- Experience managing patients detained under the Mental Health Act
- Experience
- Supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
- Knowledge of current mental health legislation and best practice guidelines
- A holistic and compassionate approach to patient care
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on patients’ lives
