Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN) | £54,5000 | 48 hours per week, Day Shifts
Registered General Nurse | Nursing Home Experience Essential | No Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship

 

Our client, a well-established nursing home, is looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN) to join their senior care team.

 

This beautiful service provides outstanding residential, nursing, and dementia care for older adults. The successful candidate will bring a combination of hands-on clinical skills, strong leadership experience, and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

 

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, you will support and guide the nursing team while working closely with the management team to ensure excellent clinical standards and compliance across the service. You’ll take a proactive approach to care planning, audits, mentoring staff, and leading by example to create a positive and collaborative care culture.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered General Nurse with proven nursing home experience and strong leadership ability to step into a key role that shapes care quality and outcomes.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid NMC registration and RGN qualification
  • Significant experience in a nursing home environment
  • Previous leadership experience within a clinical or senior nursing role
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in adult nursing and dementia care
  • Strong organisational, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Confidence in audit processes and CQC compliance
  • A genuine passion for promoting high standards of person-centred care
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no Tier 2 visa sponsorship available)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate clinical care activities across the home
  • Support and mentor nursing and care staff to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery
  • Monitor and review individual care plans to maintain best practice standards
  • Conduct clinical audits and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver person-centred care
  • Guide staff development through supervision, training, and performance support
  • Act as a clinical point of escalation and ensure effective communication with families and external partners
  • Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and excellence throughout the service
