Deputy Nurse Manager - Supernumerary 

40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Salary: £55,000 

 

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join the team at their luxury nursing home. The Deputy Nurse Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to residents and supporting the overall leadership and management of the nursing team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of best practices in caring for older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations
  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations
  • Conducting regular assessments of residents' needs and collaborating with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff
  • Acting as a liaison between the nursing team, residents, and their families, promoting open communication and addressing any concerns or inquiries
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of care standards and participating in quality assurance initiatives
