Salary: Up to £50,000

As the Nursery Manager, you’ll take the lead in creating a warm, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, support a talented team of practitioners, and work closely with families to ensure every child receives the best possible start in life. What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within an early years setting
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, early years legislation, and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, supportive approach
  • A genuine passion for child development and a commitment to inclusive, holistic education

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education
  • Inspire and lead a team of early years professionals, providing mentoring and development opportunities
  • Ensure the setting meets all regulatory and safeguarding requirements, including Ofsted standards
  • Develop strong, positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and feedback
  • Manage budgets and nursery resources effectively
  • Collaborate with external professionals to support children with additional needs
