Nursery Manager – Up to £35,000 | 40 Hours

 

Our client, a warm and welcoming early years setting, is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their team in providing exceptional care and learning for young children. The Nursery Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading a team of dedicated practitioners to deliver high-quality care and early education. This role calls for someone with strong leadership skills, a nurturing approach, and a genuine love for helping children thrive.

 

You’ll work closely with families, inspire your team, and ensure the nursery operates smoothly, safely, and in line with all regulatory requirements. What You’ll Need

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding responsibilities
  • Confident leadership skills and a passion for team development
  • A warm, approachable, and organised style of management

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of nursery operations, from staffing to safeguarding
  • Ensure the highest standards of early years education and care across the setting
  • Support, inspire and develop the nursery team through ongoing coaching and training
  • Build strong relationships with families and act as the main point of contact
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and enriching environment for both children and staff
