Nursery Manager
Salary: £32,000 - £33,000

 

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery seeking a Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about early years education, to take the lead in delivering high-quality care and learning for children. The nursery provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, from 3 months to 4 years old. As Nursery Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional care and education. Your responsibilities include leading and mentoring staff, overseeing curriculum planning, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will maintain strong parent relationships, manage administrative duties, and ensure compliance with all regulations while maintaining a safe, stimulating setting.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Level 3 Qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
  • Proven Experience in a nursery setting with strong knowledge of EYFS.
  • Leadership Skills – Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent Communication – Strong interpersonal skills to engage with staff, parents, and children.
  • Regulatory Knowledge – Understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and statutory requirements.
  • Financial Acumen – Experience managing budgets and resources.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Leadership & Management – Oversee nursery operations, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and education.
  • Staff Development – Support and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Curriculum Planning – Implement an engaging curriculum that supports children’s development.
  • Safeguarding & Compliance – Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and statutory regulations.
  • Parent Engagement – Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress.
  • Administrative & Financial Oversight – Manage budgets, occupancy, and administrative tasks.
