Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 | £27,000

Our client, a warm and nurturing early years setting, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children, supporting their development in a safe, creative, and inclusive environment.

The Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5. Working as part of a friendly and professional team, you’ll create fun, engaging learning opportunities that support each child’s individual needs, interests, and development stages.

What You’ll Need

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (NVQ or equivalent)
• Experience working in a nursery or early years environment
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• The ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships with children and families
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for working with young children

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework
• Observe and assess children's development and keep accurate records
• Work in partnership with families to support children’s learning and wellbeing
• Maintain a clean, safe and inclusive setting that promotes children’s independence
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations of the nursery
• Support the emotional, physical, and social development of all children
