Level 3 Nursery Room Leader
Salary: £32,500
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, our client is a highly regarded early years setting, providing education and care to children from birth to 5 years old. The nursery fosters curiosity and creativity with an extensive range of activities.
As a Nursery Room Leader will lead a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role requires a passion for early years education, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to the highest standards of care and education.
Qualifications Required:
- Early Years Qualification: Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a nursery room management or senior nursery role.
- Ofsted Knowledge: Familiarity with Ofsted standards and the ability to maintain the nursery’s Outstanding rating.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with children, staff, and parents alike.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of early years educators to deliver outstanding educational experiences.
- Activity Planning: Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote each child’s development, from creative play to outdoor exploration.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.
- Parent Communication: Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, providing updates on their child’s development and activities.
- Child Development Monitoring: Regularly assess and document each child’s progress and needs, working closely with the team to adapt activities accordingly.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations, including safeguarding and health and safety.
