Salary: Up to £40,000

 

Our client, a warm and welcoming early years service dedicated to creating a safe and inspiring environment for young children, is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead their vibrant team. As Nursery Manager, you will be at the heart of the service—leading by example, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting a team that’s passionate about helping children thrive. You’ll bring both your leadership skills and early years expertise to drive a nurturing and inclusive culture where every child and staff member feels seen and supported.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Proven experience managing a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and current early years frameworks
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • A people-first approach with a passion for creating a positive workplace culture
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and child-centred care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of early years professionals
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Develop and implement high-quality early years provision
  • Monitor and support staff development through training, appraisals, and supervisions
  • Manage nursery budgets and resources effectively
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing are at the core of everything the service does
