What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse Qualification & Valid UK NMC Pin – Essential for leading clinical care.
  • Proven Experience Managing Large Nursing Homes – Strong leadership Nursing Home settings.
  • CQC & Compliance Expertise – Experience in leading inspections and driving quality improvements.
  • Business & Financial Acumen – Skilled in budget management, occupancy growth, and financial planning.
  • Safeguarding & Risk Management – Ensuring resident safety, quality assurance, and incident resolution.
  • Team Leadership & Development – Ability to recruit, train, and retain a skilled and motivated care team.
  • Excellent Communication & Relationship-Building – Confident in engaging with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Manage the Nursing Home – Oversee daily operations, ensuring a warm, safe, and supportive environment.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Maintain CQC standards, lead inspections, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Champion Person-Centred Care – Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and individualised support.
  • Drive Business & Financial Success – Manage budgets, control costs, and increase occupancy levels.
  • Safeguarding & Health & Safety Oversight – Take a proactive role in risk management and incident handling.
  • Build & Develop a Strong Team – Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing staff.
