Care Quality and Compliance Lead – Field-Based

Salary: Up to £36,000 per year + Bonus + Mileage
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a respected and well-established group of care homes, is looking for a Care Quality and Compliance Lead to support the delivery of safe, high-quality care across its residential and nursing services.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Deputy Home Manager, Registered Home Manager, or Quality Lead who is ready to step into a regional, quality-focused role. You'll help ensure care remains person-centred, compliant with CQC standards, and continuously improving.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in a care home leadership role (Deputy, Registered Manager, or Compliance Lead)
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 5 preferred or willing to work towards)
  • At least 1 year’s experience delivering training within a care setting
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practice standards
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between services

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out monthly internal audits and produce detailed compliance reports
  • Monitor and improve care quality, safeguarding, and documentation standards
  • Deliver engaging training sessions for care and nursing staff
  • Work closely with Home Managers to support regulatory compliance
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to action planning
  • Support services during inspections, reviews, and quality visits
  • Promote a culture of safety, learning, and best practice across all locations
