Deputy Home Manager - Residential Care
Salary: up to £30,000 dependent on experience.
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to join their specialist residential care home, which provides dedicated support and rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI).
They are committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care in a safe and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and social care regulations, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support junior staff effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification in Social Care/Health
- Familiarity with statutory requirements such as Care Quality Commission regulations
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff members to maintain and enhance the quality of care provided
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in approaching work responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Assisting the Manager in overseeing the overall operation of the residential care facility to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members through formal supervisions and performance appraisals
- Prioritising workload to meet deadlines and maintain exceptional care standards for residents
- Demonstrating problem-solving skills and adaptability to effectively tackle any challenges that may arise
