Deputy Home Manager – £30,000–£35,000 | 35 hours per week

Our client, a specialist residential service supporting individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions, is seeking a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join their experienced and supportive team.

 

This service is focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care and rehabilitation for adults with complex needs. The Deputy Home Manager will play a key role in leading the care team, supporting the Home Manager, and ensuring the smooth, safe, and compassionate running of the service.

 

The Deputy Manager will support the day-to-day management of the home, lead by example, and promote a culture of excellence in care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of people recovering from or living with neurological conditions.

 

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or in a senior care role within adult social care
  • Strong knowledge of neurological conditions, brain injury, and rehabilitation is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A commitment to compassionate, person-centred care
  • Understanding of CQC standards and compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall management and leadership of the home
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and rehabilitation
  • Help manage staff rotas, training, and supervision
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Maintain detailed care plans and risk assessments
  • Promote positive relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Act as a role model and mentor for care staff, promoting best practices and team cohesion
