Deputy Home Manager – Beautiful Residential Dementia Care Home

Salary: Up to £35,000

 

Our client is seeking a warm, experienced, and motivated Deputy Home Manager to join their exceptional residential care home, a peaceful and elegant setting that supports older adults with residential and dementia care needs.

 

Nestled in a serene location with a stunning garden, the home is more than just a workplace – it’s a welcoming community dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents through dignity, compassion, and meaningful connection.

 

The Deputy Home Manager will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader in adult social care to take the next step in their career and make a lasting impact in a beautifully maintained and purpose-led environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager in a care home setting
  • Strong understanding of dementia care and person-centred approaches
  • Compassionate leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding care

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Home Manager in the effective and efficient running of the home
  • Lead and mentor care staff, promoting a culture of kindness, teamwork, and excellence
  • Oversee care planning and delivery, ensuring residents’ individual needs are met with dignity and respect
  • Support with audits, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Act as a positive role model and senior point of contact for residents, families, and professionals
  • Champion best practices in dementia and elderly care
